Overlord II Review

By Gugum Indra Firdaus

Unique mix of Action and Strategy

Despite its many changes, Overlord II is still maintaining gameplay as in enslaving it’s prekuel Minions. You still rely on subordinates Overlord who has dozens of small Minion. Unfortunately, the strategy elements that are considered important in the prekuel has its own privileges. For example, red Minions capable of throwing projectiles fire, and immune to fire attacks. As it’s prekuel, new brown Minions can be played from the beginning, but as the game, other colors will open. Nothing new this time is the option to be mounted Minions riding animals and help fight. These animals have previously been arrested beforehand.

At first I hope this time Overlord can do more than just rule and help fight Minion. It is not so, but this time the player can directly control the most powerful one Minions using Possession Stone. Minions are acting as the leader of other Minions.

My favorite feature of this Overlord II is the option to choose advanced route. The options, which focus Overlord Destruction to destroy the city and kill everything, and Domination is the focus Overlord defeated enemies and neutral parties that want to worship your Overlord. Options are not only affects the way the story, NPC responses, and the tower belonged to the players, but also the appearance Overlord later. Even women who will be with her also affected the options you chose earlier. Another novelty of the multiplayer modes are implemented in this game is the existence of competitive and cooperative modes.

Overall Overlord II offers many improvements over its predecessor, including able to name the Minions and Minions can also raise the dead. Presence of a mini-map in the game is also very helpful. Option to upgrade Overlord view Overlord can also create a more interesting and useful than just a lord and his goblins.
