First of all I want to say that I am one of fans of King of Fighters series, may not be up to become a fanboy, but this is one of my favorite fighting game. When SNK Playmore decided to bring the game to KoF HD era, I am directly interested. Although the result is not as I imagined before.

However, there was a most interesting part of my attention, namely its gameplay. In addition to typically contention that the combo is fast and attractive, King of Fighters XII is also has two new features, namely Critical Guard and the Counter Attack. Guard is similar to the Focus Attack Attack of the Street Fighter, but here you can not “stun” the enemy, men, and HP will not be reduced when in a position to receive the attack Attack Guard.

The extra fun is the most Critical Counter, Critical counter this is a feature that allows you to beat up enemies free for a few seconds (4-6 seconds), in addition to the Critical Counter can also be used to use the Super Movie Desperate. Critical to using your own Counter enough to counter enemy by using strong attacks (can kick or cuff), but this must be done if you Critical Counter gauge full. If successful then the enemy will be “stuned” for a while, and you are free to attack.

Naruto games are always awaited by the gamers. This game is fun. The Pros and Cons explain the basic gist of the game. This PS3-exclusive is the Sixth installment of the Narutimate / Ultimate Ninja series for home consoles (ignoring portable games and card), and it does well to fit in to. The control scheme is almost identical to past games in the series, changing L1 and R1-assist to teammate attacks, and switching items to use the directional pad (forcing movement to be analog-stick-only).

The game is filled with tons of extras, from music and video to Collectibles figurines and more special moves. All this is earned in Story Mode by completing missions and purchasing items using earned in-game cash. Most of the missions are battles, but there are three types of mini-games that show up as missions as well: hide-and-seek, race, and chase, they are fun at first, but after the 3rd time, it gets a bit old. (There is actually a fourth mini-game, as a Boss Fight, but it remains fun). Because the game stops at the Naruto VS Sasuke match before the Naruto Shippuuden series, none of the “post-time skip” versions of the ninja characters as are available.

This game is a whole lot of fun, and highly recommended to any fan of the series, especially those who enjoyed the Ultimate Ninja games. The simple mechanics keep this fighter from being on the same level as “real” fighters like Tekken or Street Fighter, and the repetitive mini-games-Exploring and town could have been tweaked a bit. If you hate Naruto (the series), then obviously this game is not for you. A game for the fans; overall a 4 out of 5.
